Learn the fundamentals of Stand-up Paddle Boarding

Our paddle boarding programs are an ongoing series of classes that will inspire each participant to focus on physical activities and stay fit as they learn the fundamentals of Stand-up Paddleboarding, water safety, paddling warm up exercises, stretching, racing techniques, posture, as well as the water code of ethics, and laws affecting the use of personal water craft while engaging in safe practice relays, social interactions and fun. Our paddle boarding programs are offered for the benefit of the community and for those who are disadvantaged, disabled or in need of assistance. Our highly trained and experienced volunteer instructors provide specialized programs and a fun and safe environment for children age 8 to 18 and adults 18 years of age and older. Free lessons are available to Fort Lauderdale residents, please contact Stand-up For A Cause to register for our next class. Our free paddle boarding lessons program will expand to several communities and 5 cities including Hollywood, Dania, Lauderdale by the Sea, and Pompano in 2014.
