President
Mario St-Cyr is originally from Ottawa Canada. He spent over 25 years in business sales and marketing in both Canada and the United States and as a licensed Real estate Broker and business owner.
His passion for helping people through teaching and coaching children and adults in professional sports has led to this endeavor.
He has responsibility for the oversight and strategic vision Stand-up for a cause Inc.
Mario oversees all of the organization's fundraising activities including direct response, major gifts, institutional/foundation relations, planned giving, branding, marketing, digital engagement, and strategic communications initiatives, web design,Policy and Research, developed and implemented integrated marketing, communications strategic plans, coordinates campaigns, events, local programs and student groups. he also serves As Chief Finance and Administration Officer
Mario brings expertise in results-driven strategic planning and financial and organizational management.
He has a deep experience in change management strategies, implementation and career-long management of client services.
Vice-President - Daniel St-Cyr:
Mr. Daniel St-Cyr is a national sales manager for an international beverage company. His passion for sports and the environment has inspired him to help found Stand-Up For A Cause so that others can also be inspired, educated and socially connected through sporting activities and educational programs. Daniel spends approximately 20 hours per week on Stand-Up For A Cause operations, including event coordination, program development, communications and other office and event necessities.

2013 “Stand-up for the Pets”
The first “Stand-up For The Pets” event raised funds and awareness for inoculating, spaying and neutering Broward country pets that are in need of treatment, but without the financial resources to see a Veterinarian. The day consisted of activities, social gathering, stand-up paddlers, kayakers and any other paddlers with or without their pets - and everyone who believes in our cause and who wants to create awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering their pets.
Proceeds of the Stand-up for the Pets event will be used to pay for a day of neutering, spaying and inoculating at the Animal Wellness Clinic of Tamarac, by Dr. Darko. Pet owners that live in Broward country, and who are in need of treatment but cannot afford it can register online and be scheduled to get the treatment their pets need, for free.
Veterinarians from the Animal Wellness Clinic of Tamarac, rescue organizations, and pets adoption resources organizations will be on hand to offer assistance and answer questions to all attendees.

Stand-up for a Cause, is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that provides, promotes, organizes, manages and administers recreational, educational and physically challenging lessons, courses, tours, classes and events, for the benefit of those who are disadvantaged, disabled, or in need of assistance. Program activities will promote health and individual achievement, build confidence, strengthen the mind, body and spirit, educate the community and foster a clean environment.
